Images of Marxism

This is the image of the communist movement consisting of a hammer and sickle, both representing the industrial working- class and agricultural workers. Together, they represent the unity of the nation through the movement of communism. The Russian Revolution uses this symbol yet it still represent various different communist parties to this day.

Socialism and capitalism differ expodentially and both can easily collide and clash with each other due to their views. The government system acts like a pendulum, going either too right or too left, never really finding the balance or perfect system required to run a country.
Communism is a more of a left-wing system, while capitalism resides on a right-wing scale. Left-wing entails more government control over the citizens of the nation, meaning there is no private businesses, and all is shared from resources to money. Right-wing consists of less government control, and there are more private sectors than public. Both differ greatly, yet it is difficult to find the balance most countries require.

Karl Marx (1818-1883) was the thinker and philosopher behind the socialism movement.  After his death in 1883, his socialist ideas and ideals created a rapid movement of socialism and ultimately ended with communism. One of his first works was called the "Capital" which was slow to publish at first but possessed much of his ideas and thoughts on things such as wage labour, property, and capital.
